Chicago — Cathryn Sleight has been named global president of business development for Mars Wrigley.
Sleight joins the company from Unilever, where she spent nine years leading its global food category business, according to Mars Wrigley. During her tenure there, she successfully developed and executed global brand renovation and innovation agendas across key brands such as Knorr and Hellmann’s.
Prior to Unilever, Sleight spent 20 years in marketing roles at various food and beverage manufacturers, including The Coca-Cola Co., Allied Domecq, Britvic Soft Drinks, McVitie’s and Eden Vale, the candymaker reports.
“Cathryn brings great experience to Mars Wrigley and will help us further expand our portfolio,” says Andrew Clarke, global president of Mars Wrigley. “Her ability to spot trends and pinpoint emerging brands with significant potential for global scale will help us further diversify and grow.”
