Mars Wrigley Takes goodnessKNOWS Into New Territory

Mars Wrigley Confectionery U.S. LLC is taking its goodnessKNOWS snack squares brand into new territory in 2018. The brand is expanding beyond its traditional fruit and nut roots, adding six flavors to the line. The new flavors are Peanut Butter Crunch, Nut & Sea Salt with Almonds and Peanuts, Maple Cinnamon & Almond, Honey Almond Bourbon Vanilla, Mocha & Almond and Oats Raisins & Almond.

The savory combinations are a balance of sweet and salty, the company reports, adding the additions continue the brand’s focus on offering less than 150 calories per single pack. Mars Wrigley Confectionery also notes the product is designed to provide 10 to 15 percent of consumers’ recommended nutrient needs. The product is also non-GMO, gluten-free and crafted with real ingredients, such as whole nuts, fruit and dark chocolate, with no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.

The new varieties are available in four-piece packs, and each serving contains 100mg of naturally occurring cocoa flavanols, the company maintains. 

Earlier this year, the brand unveiled a packaging refresh and new logo. According to the company, the bolder logo design and new packaging highlight real ingredients featured on the front of each pack, and make it easier for consumers to identify which flavor speaks most to them on their snack journey.

The 1.2-ounce bars are available individually and in five-ct boxes. CST
