Mentos Brand Partners With Big Brothers Big Sisters Of America


Erlanger, KY – Perfetti Van Melle North American is introducing limited edition Mentos “Say Hello” mints as part of a Pay It Forward promotion for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Each mint is printed with a message, including suggestions on connecting with others such as fist bump, play rock-paper-scissors and give a high five.

“We’re going to help the millions of people who buy Mentos not only make fresh connections but also Pay It Forward for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America,” says Sylvia Buxton, newly named president and CEO of the company.

In-store displays will instruct shoppers to text for Mentos coupons and the company will donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The program runs from August through October, with in-store displays featuring codes that shoppers can text to receive digital coupons. For every text the company receives it will make a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, up to $100,000.
