East Hanover, NJ — Mondelez International, Inc. is promoting its Véa snack line through a partnership with The New York Times titled “Surfacing,” a first-of-its kind residency for up-and-coming journalists, the company reports.
“Véa’s North Start is the exploration and discovery of real food and real experiences,” says Jason Levine, Mondelez vice-president of marketing. “This synergistic approach combines the free-spirited nimbleness of raw storytellers with the resources and trained abilities of a new powerhouse which, like our snacks, we hope will inspire a new generation to explore more.”
The newspaper will recruit and train residents, who will develop food, culture and travel content for The Times’ travel section. The stories will begin appearing in December.
Additionally, the newspaper’s T Brand Studio is producing six films that give consumers a “behind-the-scenes look” at the ingredients used in the Véa portfolio.
