National Ad Campaign Highlights Improved Butterfinger Recipe

Glendale, CA — A national “Better Butterfinger” campaign has been launched to highlight the product’s reformulation using U.S.-grown peanuts, a rich chocolatey coating and double-layer packaging to improve freshness, according to Ferrara Candy Co., Inc.

The campaign features a TV spot running across multiple cable and network channels, introduces the Butterfinger alien character and updates the brand’s tagline to “Nobody lays a finger on my better Butterfinger,” the candymaker reports.

In addition to the commercial, the brand’s website and social media outlets have been updated to reflect the new recipe and campaign.
