Washington — To give consumers the tools to better understand the unique role the category plays in balanced lifestyles and seasonal celebrations, NCA has launched Halloween Central.
The digital hub features season-specific facts — such as 94 percent of Americans reporting chocolate and candy make holidays more fun — and educational tips for embracing balance during Halloween, according to the Association. Halloween Central also includes safety tips and resources to help navigate the holiday.
“Chocolate and candy companies play an important role in time-honored and fun holiday traditions and special moments like Halloween,” says John Downs, NCA president and CEO. “As consumers enjoy chocolate and candy this Halloween season and seek to boost their emotional well-being, we are helping them manage their sugar intake and provide them with the resources they need to make informed choices.”
