Washington — June is National Candy Month, and to help celebrate the unique role chocolate and candy can play in a balanced lifestyle, NCA is highlighting three ways the industry and consumers alike can participate in the month-long festivities.
Random Acts Of Sweetness: Throughout June, NCA will randomly select a few Washingtonians to receive custom packs of unique and fun treats and will bringing enjoyment to D.C.-area events including the Congressional Women’s Softball Game on June 20, according to the Association.
Learn More About Industry Leadership: The month-long celebration also gives candymakers the chance to highlight the Always a Treat Initiative, a commitment from the industry to provide consumers with information, options and support. The program’s website provides robust details about the commitment as well as fun facts about consumers’ favorite treats.
