Hershey, PA — Starting this summer, registered retailers will be able to place orders on the Hershey Solutions online portal, which helps c-store operators capitalize on the latest product releases and shopper trends, according to The Hershey Co.
“We want to see our convenience store partners continue to grow and are proud to be investing in capabilities that will help them drive trips, build baskets and ultimately maximize sales and profits,” says Gwen Andrews, senior manager, sales planning c-store. “Our Hershey Solutions portal allows us to help thousands of retailers each day, providing them access to category management insights, merchandising, new product news and now online ordering.”
In addition to the new ordering feature, retailers can use the site to access the latest planograms, promotional program schedules, expert merchandising strategies and shopper insights, according to the candymaker. Additionally, contracted retailers can check their Retailer Rewards rebate status, and identify and resolve any compliance gaps.
“It is exciting to see Hershey Solutions continue to grow and there are even more profit-driving business tools that we’ll be rolling out in the near future,” Andrews says. “The online ordering capability is the first of many exciting additions to come.”
