Arlinton, VA — The Snack Food Association’s board of directors voted at its annual SNAXPO conference to rebrand the organization as SNAC International to reflect the changing marketplace, reports the association.
With a new tagline, “Snacking. Nutrition. Convenience.,” the association is conveying the three key tenants of its members’ brands, according to its announcement. It also is meant to reflect the evolution of today’s consumers’ interests. The association added “international” to its name to align with those members that conduct global business, as well as those that are seeking to expand their scope of business.
SNAC International is the global trade association representing the entire snack industry, composed of more than 400 snack manufacturers and suppliers worldwide. The association’s mission is to offer services and relationship building forums for members in support of industry growth and dynamic relevance.
