Cleveland _ Packaging manufacturer Tap Packaging Solutions has hired Anna Brown as package design manager, to lead the company’s Package Design department.
Brown, who joined the employee-owned company in the fall of 2017, bring to the position both domestic and international experience in print quality and color management, in addition to her work with the health & beauty, entertainment and publishing industries, the company reports.
“Anna’s global experience working with luxury brands and her knowledge of print and color management will be an immediate asset to our clients,” says Jordana Revella, vice-president of sales and marketing at Tap. “Her leadership and engineering background will only make our nationally renown packaging company even stronger.”
Originally from Germany, Brown earned a B.S. in engineering with a focus in printing technology and management from the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart, Germany, and studied printing technology and Chinese language in Germany and China.
Brown notes that environmental stewardship is important in package design and digital print technology is the most efficient way to leverage consumer brand folding cartons in a fast-paced market. “Color is a significant brand asset,” Brown says. “Tap’s customers will greatly benefit from our ability to manage the many variables in the print production process.”
